Prostate cancer is now the most diagnosed solid tumor in men. Males need not painfully die of prostate cancer.

Proactive awareness programs can save lives. APCaP's vision, simply stated, is to reduce the incidence and death rates of prostate cancer through preventive measures.

Baby Boomers are now reaching the crucial age of vulnerability of this disease. Survivors, no matter what their therapeutic treatment was, can help to prevent the cancer's return.

It all begins with periodic screenings to obtain a baseline PSA and track it through the years. Lifestyle changes as well as good nutrition and exercise can play preventative roles. So can the judicious use of complementary medicine.

Reducing the incidence and death rates of prostate cancer; it is a goal that we share! The purpose of this symposium is to take all of us in that direction.
