A 13 year prostate cancer survivor, Terry Roe has been active as an advocate for treatment and knowledge of the disease for twelve years. Terry was employed at the J.C. Penney Company headquarters, New York for 28 years, serving as National Merchandise Manager for Men's Wear. In 1981, Terry became president of the Patrick Corporation, a retail consulting firm.

For six years he advised La Rinascente, Italy's largest department store chain. Later he consulted garment manufacturers and textile mills in New York City.

He served in the United States Navy in WWII and the Korean conflict. Rank of Lieutenant.
